Hey!

As this is the studying period, we will definetly need much encouragement and help from others. A random thought just popped in my mind and i think its worth sharing. This is one of the most important period where we look for friends when we are too stressed or unhappy, and also the time when your friendship improves if you help one another.

So, i want to share with you the ten friendship quotes which i think is the most meaningful ones i have ever read. Treasure your friendship. You never know what will happen tomorrow.

1. "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words."

2. It is a sweet thing, friendship, a dear balm,
A happy and auspicious bird of calm..."

3. "Friendship is always a sweet responsibilty, never an oppourtunity."

4. "Time isn't what makes a friendship last...It's love and devotion that keeps the tie between souls."

5. "People see each other as chocolate or vanilla, why can't we all just come together and be hugs?"

6. "A friend loves you, makes you feel alright, troubles are not troubles when you talk, listen and accept you as you are, because you will feel the same and love the same......."

7. "A friend is someone who reaches for your hand, but touches your heart."

8. "True friendship is sitting together in silence and feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had"

9. "You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back."

10. "A true friend wants nothing more from you than the pleasure of your company."

Treasure your friends!

two years, he receives the news that his girlfriend is going to marry,he asked his friends to who his girlfriend is going to marry.

Finally he discovered his girlfriend is going to marry the postman who had helped him to delivered those love letters in the past 2 years.

third joke:

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Golfing 3.6.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!

Thanks,
Troubled User.....

REPLY:

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance . Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2 .

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

Best of luck,

Tech Support

Fourth Joke

"If there are any idiots in the classroom, will they please stand up," said the sarcastic teacher. After a long silence, one freshman rose to his feet.

"Now then, why do you consider yourself an idiot?" inquired the teacher with a sneer.

"Well, actually I don't," said the student, "but I hate to see you standing up there all by yourself."

Well, I hope it helped you laugh. we need to deeee-stress okay! I'll post more when im not lazy ^_^

A King and Four Wives

Once upon a time...there was a rich King who had four wives.

He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.

He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidante and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.

The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, "I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone."

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!", replied the 4th wife, and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!", replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!", replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." Her answer came like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out: "I'll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was so skinny as she suffered from malnutrition.

Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"

In truth, we all have 4 wives in our lives:

Our 4th wife is our body.
No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth.
When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our family and friends.
No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Soul, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego.
However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. So cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, it is your greatest gift to offer the world.

When the world pushes you to your knees......
You're in the perfect position to pray.

Hello everyone. Chandini here. I felt that time
is passing really fast. I just feel that I want to
thank everyone for helping me and cheering me on.
I am also feeling very lucky for being in 2E6. Actually
every class envies our unity and togetherness. We have
proved to be one of the most AWESOME class. I praise the
Lord that I am not stuck in a NERDY class or a SLACKER
class. I don't think we are those people with the HECK-CARE
attitude. We do want to be the best. This is one of the best
stories which has touched me!

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd."

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on. As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw t him land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes. My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. " They really should get lives. " He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said , "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday! " He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous! Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!" He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. " Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends... I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story." I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable." I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth. Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse.

God puts us all in each others lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others. Pass this on to your friends "Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

There is no beginning or end..
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift.

Hi everybody. Superman/LiYi here.

I realised how long it's been since i've posted a real blog entry here on our blog, which is like, since never. And I've realised how long it has been since the year started.
Just a quick short entry here, considering that there's a literature test tomorrow.

It's been close to 10 months since we have been together. As a class, i always thought that we have been great. We show care and concern to one another, do we not? When Chloe, Sherri, Rebekah, Adalia, Anusha, and several other students were ill and did not come to school/ went home halfway, I believe someone would have called to ask if you were fine. Take for example, when i was sick for two days, Ms Ramlah called me, Yunwei smsed me, and several other classmates contacted me. I mean, it was really heartwarming to know there's someone there! I don't really know what i mean in this sentence though.

When i was in primary school, I (used to) always think that a class was a group of individuals mashed together who study together. However this is not that case, i realised. A class, is a team. A team where every member plays a crucial part.

We have our Monitress, the 大姐大 who's in charge of everything that goes on in the class. Somewhat like a sister, she takes care of this Team, this Class. I was her Angel once, and I began realising how hard it is for her to be a Monitress! We're like, little devils, i must say. Seriously. xD

We have our Asst. Monitress, Ruri, the girl who's always full of questions, in a good way. I don't really know Ruri well, but i bet she's a nice person despite being a little loud at times. Sorry Ruri! Well, she's a great Asst. Monitress too, always reminding us to be good pupils. ;)

Then we have the rest of the Class Committee. Look at Michelle, she was in-charge of decorating our class-back-board. I think it looks fantastic, and Ms Ramlah thought so too! Sitting around her's great fun too! Hahas, she practically has a very bubbly self! Just like me! Hahas, she's a really hardworking girl, and she's a great help in subjects too. Her singing lifts people's spirits too, during the few minutes before the teacher comes, she'll be singing and singing all the lovely songs. :D I don't know the rest of our class commitee. Hahas, i know there's Sindhya... and uh, some other people. Sorry i can't remember who you are, but as part of the class i wanna thank you guys for spending so much time doing all the Class Committee stuff in our class. xD

Besides that, we have our subject Representitives. They play a big big big part in helping us make studying easier! Look at Veneetha and Chandini, always busy with Science Wb collection, Worksheet collection etc. And our Ih rep, Melissa! Asst, Iii-meh-noo-eehh-laa, our Art rep, Sindhya, and all the other reps, My thanks to you! :)

I think i'm sidetracking alrd, i initially wanted to talk about cheering you guys about our exams. Oops. x)

Alright, so remember what Jia Han said k! We must all cheer each other on and jiayou tgth to get the best results in our year end exams. :) :) Lit Test tomorrow, everyone study hard and put your best into it k. We must jia you and everything. :) And then when exams start, wah chiiong ah! x)

Study hard girls, All the best for exams.

With love,
Superman.

Hey all! Me just into the "inspirational mood" today..so gonna post "inspirational" stuff!
Hope its useful for you people!

Life’s Struggles

A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he could watch the moth come out of the cocoon. On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for several hours as the moth struggled to force the body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. It just seemed to be stuck. Then the man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The moth then emerged easily.
But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.
What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening was the way of forcing fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.
Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If we were to go through our life without any obstacles, we would be crippled.
We would not be as strong as what we could have been. Give every opportunity a chance, leave no room for regrets.

So everybody, this time of preparing for finals/streaming might seem tough. Do not be dicouraged if you did not do well for your CA2. Learn from the mistakes you've done and study harder. I know you might think its easier said than done. Actually if you really put your mind into what you do, it wont seem so hard after all :D Most importantly, enjoy what you do. It really helps!!
